S.C. Umpires' Camp

The PCUA and CBUA in partnership with MiLB's The Umpire School will be hosting the 4th annual S.C. Umpires' Camp.
When: December 9 - December 11, 2011
Where: Carolina Stadium, Columbia, SC
-- Only Camp in South Carolina approved by MiLB’s Professional Baseball Umpire Corporation (PBUC) and Minor League Baseball’s The Umpire School™!
-- Instructors include 4 former minor league umpires (including two with MLB regular season experience) multiple ACC, SEC, and Division 1 Conference umpires, and 2 PBUC instructors!
-- Booking agents from college, high school, American Legion, USSSA, and local recreation associations will be in attendance evaluating campers.
-- Each camper will select on-field instruction in 2 or 3 man mechanics.
-- Extensive classroom instruction in rule differences between OBR, NCAA and FED and covering other topics.
-- Each camper who attends the 2012 South Carolina Baseball Umpires Camp will receive a $250.00 discount on tuition at Minor League Baseball’s The Umpire School™. The Umpire School™ is one of only three approved umpire schools one can attend to become a professional baseball umpire!
-- Camp will have live games that campers will umpire under the direction of camp instructors!
-- At $150, this is the most affordable 2 ½ day umpire camp anywhere! Tuition includes all instruction, a camp T-shirt and Saturday lunch.
-- Camp begins Friday evening (12/9/11) and will be held Rain or Shine!!!
-- Umpire equipment vendors will be available; bring all of your equipment to camp.
